Paradoxical Experiences Needed In Genuine Christian Living

To affirm whether we have the faith to embrace God's promises, we have to see if we can still stand firm and assured even when facing paradoxical situations. When we seem to have nothing, yet are assured that God provides sufficiently; when people criticise us and we are able to take it, etc, it shows that God's love has filled us so much that we can embrace such paradoxical situations. God's grace does not merely comfort us, but grace is supposed to bring us to the climax of God's love, such that even in famine, hardships, and all kinds of paradoxical situations, we can see the glory of God.
