Worship Wednesdays: HERE I BOW by BRIAN & JENN JOHNSON |
"Where would I run
But to the throne of mercy
Where would I kneel
But at this cross of grace
How great the love
How strong the hand that holds us
Beautiful, so beautiful

So here I bow to lift You high
Jesus be glorified
In all things, for all my life
I am Yours, forever Yours

There is a King who bore the scars of healing
There is a Son who came in grace and truth
How great the love that carries us to kindness
Wonderful, You're wonderful

So here I bow to lift You high
Jesus be glorified
In all things, for all my life
I am Yours, forever Yours

God here and now, be lifted high
Right here and now, be glorified
God of Heaven and Earth
God who brought me back to life
I am Yours, forever Yours

So here I bow to lift You high
Jesus be glorified
In all things, for all my life
I am Yours, forever Yours"

TBR Short Clip: SOME BUILD THEIR FAITH WITH WHAT IS CHEAP AND PERISHABLE |
We have to examine the foundation with which we build our faith upon. Human zeal, personal convictions and gifts cannot be the basis of where we run for the Lord. To have a lasting and sturdy Christian faith we need two important materials: to be Grace-Embracing and Truth-Abiding.

LIFE'S HARDEST TEST AND GOD'S PROVISION |
Sometimes life gets hard, even as we walk with the Lord. Yet, with greater tests and trials comes greater divine grace. Often, we tend to feel that God is heartless or unhelpful during our trials. However, the faithful God will provide for us, not necessarily by helping us avert the trials, but His help comes within our trials, so that we can eventually pass the test. The most blessed relationship with God is one that is built not on what God can give us or do for us, but on God Himself. To the one who trusts and obeys God, He will give grace upon grace. Yet, though human obedience is important in the walk of faith, God's grace will always surpass human performance, our works can never outdo God's grace.

TBR Short Clip: BUILD YOUR FAITH ON WHAT IS COSTLY AND IMPERISHABLE |
We may know that holding on to Christ and following His truth is the best way to build a strong faith foundation, however, the world constantly tries to steer us away and one of the biggest challenge is a temptation to change.

CAMPUS SESSIONS: FOCUS ON JESUS RATHER THAN OUR WEAKNESSES | We are limited humans with various needs. Usually, after one need is satisfied, we will soon have another new need. Even after going through one miracle, we tend to forget about it when the next problem strikes us. Thus, when we walk with Jesus, it is most important that we truly know Jesus for who He is, and learn to keep our eyes on Him, instead of on our changing conditions. Such single-minded focus on Jesus does not come overnight and has to be cultivated till it becomes a blessed habit. This is where we should pray towards, so that we will be less easily shaken by our needs, weaknesses and circumstances.

TBR Theme Message 2020: The Year Of Building A Lasting Christian Faith | We used to love things that are built to last. Yet its pretty peculiar that we are living in an Era now where things are built to change. People are just convinced to buy things with just that little bit of change of design or function, whether it is with their furniture or electric appliances. And it is not hard to realize that the Christian faith taught nowadays are starting to take the same pattern. Find out the pressing reason why we must build a Christian faith that last in these days.

KIDS CHRISTMAS GOSPEL RALLY 2019:
2 KINGS, 1 PLAN |
This year, we will be switching our angle of looking at the Christmas story by zooming into the contrast of 2 kings, King Herod and our Saviour King Jesus. Though the darts of evil and challenges are hurled on the birth of Christ, yet when God has made a plan to save His people, it will always come through. So let us come celebrate the birth of light and hope!
All kids are welcome to join us this 25th December, 10.30AM for a morning of praise, fun and word.
Adults are also welcome to join us in our bilingual Christmas service happening at the same time.
